The 2026 Budget Draft Bill, approved by the
Council of Ministers on October 2, is on the Finance & Budget Committee
Agenda in Parliament.
Total expenditures are at around USD 5.974
billion, a 20% increase compared to the 2025 budget and 55%
higher than 2024 actual spending. Revenues have risen by nearly USD 2
billion compared to 2024 actual revenues.
Overall, the budget's fiscal space
remains narrow given the lack of structural reforms, particularly
public debt restructuring, public sector restructuring and tax reform.
